Join Digital Photo Academy Instructor Chuck Place on Saturday July 25th 9am - 6pm for a day at the Manhattan Beach Botanical Garden. Parks and botanic gardens offer a wealth of subjects to photographers, from flowers and butterflies to sweeping landscapes. Chuck will cover a range of topics, from lens choice, including macro lenses, extension tubes and Lensbabies, to the use of diffusers, reflectors and TTL flash units. Learn to shoot Macro photography as well as landscapes in various lighting conditions, with assorted professional lighting equipment such as flash, reflectors and fill cards. Students will meet at Image Mechanic in Santa Monica for a short presentation, spend the day at the garden, and head back to Image Mechanics for image prep and critique.
